Alien? Predator? Human?
Ran 13 km this morning and my legs felt like jelly. But then its good training especially I'm going for the half marathon... God pls help me!
Just watched Alien vs Predator... Truthfully speaking, i may have liked the idea of putting the 2 creatures in one show, but the show's damn stupid. Stupid plot, bad animation, the only thing worth remembering is the funny antics by the predator.
The predator is suppose to be the hunter, but in the show, they seem to be the prey! Started with 3 from the beginning who killed all humans in their way and looked formidable. Within seconds after the alien appears, 2 died. The one remaining has to, in the end team up with a human woman (lead actress, did i mention her acting? Lets not say too much...) to kill a few aliens, had to make her a spear and a shield out of a dead alien. And in the end, had to detonate his 'nuclear' bomb to stop the aliens. Lets just say that this time his bomb had defects as the Queen alien escaped. In the end 'she' got dragged down to the bottom of the sea. What a waste as she is on the upper hand and if had won, earth and the predator races might have just be extincted. Haahaa! That somehow sums the show up. Like I say stupid plot.
The special effects aren't that great. Just like anyother alien or predator shows. At a point where the predator and alien was fighting, no one can figure out which is which, with the dark blackground camoufluging both lead creatures. In the end, only the explosion seemed impressive enough.
History has it that the predator is a hunter race, thus in the show, it has the attitude and character of a boastful, arragont, self-centred hunter. With a few of actions of the predator seem humanly and that actually had a funny effect. Like that way he break the neck of a infant alien with his thumb and then show a Bruce Lee's neck twisting. Or like the way of the sumarai, it sliced the alien head off wit his weapon with back facing the alien and then shaking the blood off the weapon before putting it back into the scabbard, all without moving his body. All these brought a few laughter in the cinema.
Think the show is over hyped, maybe because of the fame of the 2 creatures coming together for the 1st time. But then for me to choose, i rather play the PS version... Haahaa!!!
